Celebrate Wintertime and the Festival of Lights! The Winter Hanukkah Box touches on all of the special gifts wintertime & Hanukkah brings…crisp days, warm drinks, and cozy, feel-good memories.

Each box is filled to the brim with a variety of Hanukkah & winter-themed ideas along with some great indoor play activities; your child will look forward to choosing activities from their Idea Box!

All of the activities and ideas in the Winter Hanukkah Box are simple, require little to no prep-work, and use items that are found around the house. When you make the activities in your Idea Box as child-directed as possible, your child is learning to listen, ask questions, and follow directions. In addition, when you your child takes the lead, you are providing an opportunity to help build their self-esteem, promote independent thinking and grow their decision making skills. Includes activities such as making a time-capsule to open next Hanukkah, taking a winter walk outside, and making latkes & homemade applesauce.

The Idea Box Kids is a company that seeks to cure “I’m bored” in kids by creating covertly educational activities. The Idea Box Kids has been featured in Country Living, American Farmhouse, MaryJanes Farm, and on sites like Fodor’s Travel, The Week, Cafe Mom and Simply Real Moms. We design and physically make each Idea Box, by hand. So much so, that the actual box that you hold in your hand has been die cut (by us) using a hand-cranked roller and a custom designed (by us) metal die. We then seal up the edges and hand wrap both the lid and the bottom of the box. We also hand die cut and glue the inner box that temporarily holds the coins inside the box. We love creating and manufacturing Idea Boxes!
