Coprolite is pretty much a very old and fossilized poop (or feces, if you prefer to read this on a more serious tone). Coprolites are trace fossils (or ichnofossils) that can be found all over the world. The word coprolite comes from the Greek Kopros Lithos, which translates into “dung stone”.
